Northern Arizona Genealogical Society

Membership Information


Welcome one and all!

Our mission is to:
  • foster genealogical education in our communites in areas of genealogy, genealogical research, and family history through society meetings, workshops, programs, and demonstrations;
  • offer educational classes that are open to the general public;
  • publish a quarterly society newsletter;
  • collaborate with other non-profit organizations and/or educational institutions to conduct activities that will further interest in the field of genealogy;
  • and hold monthly general membership meetings with an educational program.

 NAGS membership allows you access to:
  • camaraderie and sharing with fellow genealogists, a like-minded group who understands your excitement over finding ancestors. 
  • monthly educational programs of genealogical interest, including professional speakers, for 10 of the 12 months.
  • educational classes and workshops for all genealogy experienced levels: beginners, intermediate, and advanced.
  • Sleuth Hounds, a nine-week beginning computer-oriented genealogy class with hands-on experience of the basic record groups.
  • The Bulletin, our informational quarterly newsletter.
  • recordings of our monthly meetings, including our educational portion, and the speaker's hand-outs.
  • assistance and mentoring with your genealogical research and problems.
  • announcements of events offered by Arizona genealogical and historical societies,
 
Your membership helps the organization provide more professional programs and materials.
NAGS offers a hybrid meeting format, join us in person or using Zoom. Zoom attendees must register.

Notifications of events, etc. to members with an outstanding balance on February 15th will cease.
